As the UAE celebrates its National Day long weekend, the weather takes a cooler turn with a chance of rain in various parts of the country today. According to the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM), low clouds will appear in scattered areas, bringing the possibility of light rainfall. This weather pattern is expected to persist from November 30 to December 3, aligning with earlier forecasts. The day is predicted to be partly cloudy with moderate to fresh winds. These winds may strengthen at times, especially over the sea, leading to dusty conditions on land.
Safety Alerts
The NCM has issued orange and yellow alerts for rough sea conditions. The Arabian Gulf is forecasted to be very rough, while the Oman Sea is expected to range from moderate to rough at times.
Residents have been strongly advised against swimming or diving in the sea due to hazardous conditions. Authorities have urged everyone to avoid marine activities and stay away from the coastline for safety reasons.
Temperatures and Humidity
Today’s temperatures will range from a chilly 9°C in mountainous regions to a warm 25°C in internal areas. Humidity levels will vary, dropping as low as 15% in mountainous areas and reaching up to 85% in coastal and internal regions.
Public Advisory
Authorities have reminded the public to rely on official updates from the NCM and to avoid spreading unverified information. Residents planning outdoor activities during the holiday period are encouraged to stay cautious, particularly in coastal areas.
Stay safe and enjoy the cooler weather as the UAE embraces the festive season.
