Dubai: The first draw of the UAE Lottery brought excitement to participants as 11 winners were awarded Dh100,000 each, according to a statement from The Game, the lottery’s operator. The inaugural event, held on December 14, saw exceptional participation, with over 29,000 winners confirmed in total.

Looking ahead, the operator expects even greater turnout for the second draw, scheduled for December 28, which offers a jackpot prize of Dh100 million and a second prize of Dh1 million.

Unclaimed Jackpot Prizes

In the first draw, no participants claimed the top jackpot prize of Dh100 million or the second prize of Dh1 million. To win the jackpot, participants must match six day-numbers and one month-number.

Prizes for all winners are automatically credited to their accounts. The operator’s prize claim committee contacts winners, inviting them to an exclusive ceremony where the awards are formally announced and payments facilitated.

Lottery Details and Odds

The UAE Lottery offers a variety of prizes ranging from Dh100 to Dh100,000, along with a guaranteed seven 'Lucky Chance IDs' receiving Dh100,000 each per draw. Despite the long odds of winning the jackpot (1 in 8,835,372), the lottery continues to draw participants due to its unique mix of entertainment and responsible gaming.

Participants are assured a transparent process, with independent auditors and draw officials overseeing every step. "The UAE Lottery is designed to combine excitement with responsible gaming habits," the operator said.

Technical Issues Addressed

The Game acknowledged minor technical issues experienced during the first draw due to high website traffic but reassured participants that measures are in place to prevent future disruptions. The operator recommends setting up a PayBy wallet for smooth and unrestricted deposits.

Regulated Lottery Operations

The UAE Lottery is the first and only regulated lottery in the country, operating under the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority. Currently, only three entities are authorized to conduct lottery activities in the UAE: The Game, LLC (operator of the UAE Lottery), Big Ticket, and Dubai Duty Free.

With the anticipation building for the December 28 draw, participants eagerly await their chance to win life-changing prizes in the UAE’s premier lottery experience.
