UAE Fuel Prices Drop to Lowest in 2024: Cost of Filling Up in December

The UAE has announced fuel prices for December 2024, with rates dropping to the lowest levels seen this year. The Fuel Prices Monitoring Committee reduced prices by up to Dh0.13 per litre, compared to November, offering significant savings for motorists.

Fuel Prices for December 2024:

  • Super 98 petrol: Dh2.61 per litre (down from Dh2.74)
  • Special 95 petrol: Dh2.50 per litre (down from Dh2.63)
  • E-plus 91 petrol: Dh2.43 per litre (down from Dh2.55)

These adjustments are based on global oil price fluctuations and distribution costs, as determined by the Ministry of Energy.

Full Tank Savings in December:

Filling up your tank will now cost between Dh6.12 and Dh9.62 less than in November, depending on your vehicle type.

Compact Cars (51-litre tank):

  • Super 98 petrol: Dh133.11 (was Dh139.74)

  • Special 95 petrol: Dh127.50 (was Dh134.13)
  • E-plus 91 petrol: Dh123.93 (was Dh130.05)

Sedans (62-litre tank):

  • Super 98 petrol: Dh161.82 (was Dh169.88)
  • Special 95 petrol: Dh155 (was Dh163.06)
  • E-plus 91 petrol: Dh150.66 (was Dh158.10)

SUVs (74-litre tank):

  • Super 98 petrol: Dh193.14 (was Dh202.76)
  • Special 95 petrol: Dh185 (was Dh194.62)
  • E-plus 91 petrol: Dh179.82 (was Dh188.70)
