Dubai Police has announced the locations for stationary and mobile Iftar cannons across the emirate, continuing a long-standing tradition that marks the end of daily fasting during Ramadan.
The booming cannon shots—fired twice on the eve of Ramadan, once daily throughout the month, and twice on Eid Al Fitr—serve as an official signal for Iftar, the evening meal when Muslims break their fast.
