A new initiative has been launched in Ras Al Khaimah to ease the salary disbursement process for workers, particularly those with limited access to traditional banking services. The C3Pay payroll card was introduced as a solution, allowing workers to receive their salaries without the need to open a bank account.

This new system was made possible through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (Rakez) and EdenRed UAE, a global leader in payment solutions. Under this agreement, employees can now have their salaries loaded directly onto the payroll card, which can be used at ATMs, stores, and for online transactions.

The initiative is designed to offer financial inclusion for low-income earners who face challenges accessing traditional banking facilities. By providing an easy and efficient way for workers to manage their salaries, the C3Pay card is expected to enhance financial accessibility for many employees in the emirate.

Rami Jallad, Group CEO of Rakez, emphasized that the program aims to simplify salary payments and provide a practical solution for workers. Wael Fakhrani, CEO of EdenRed UAE, highlighted the convenience of the payroll card, calling it a reliable financial tool for managing daily transactions.

This new service marks an important step towards improving financial services for workers in Ras Al Khaimah, ensuring they have seamless access to their earnings, no matter their banking situation.

The C3Pay payroll card, developed by Edenred UAE, is a Mastercard accepted globally at ATMs, retail outlets, and online platforms. It offers workers a convenient way to access and manage their salaries without the need for a traditional bank account. The accompanying C3Pay mobile app enhances this experience by providing features such as balance tracking, transaction history, international money transfers, and mobile top-ups.

This initiative aligns with RAKEZ's commitment to improving the welfare of laborers in its industrial sectors by providing secure, convenient, and accessible financial services. Edenred UAE, a global leader in payment solutions, emphasizes that the C3Pay cards are tailored to streamline salary payments and empower employees with more control over their financial resources.

Overall, the introduction of the C3Pay payroll card in Ras Al Khaimah represents a significant advancement in financial inclusivity for workers, ensuring they have seamless access to their earnings regardless of their banking status.
