Virat Kohli has done it again! The Indian batting superstar shattered Sachin Tendulkar’s iconic record, becoming the fastest batter to reach 14,000 runs in ODI history.
Kohli, who needed just 15 runs before the match, reached the milestone in his 287th innings, smashing a trademark cover drive for four off Haris Rauf. This puts him ahead of Tendulkar (350 innings) and Sangakkara (378 innings) as the quickest to the landmark.
Pakistan Struggles Under Pressure
Batting first, Pakistan fought hard but could only manage 241 runs. Saud Shakeel (62) and Mohammad Rizwan (46) held the innings together, but India’s bowlers, led by Kuldeep Yadav (3/40), kept them from posting a bigger total.
India’s Path to Glory
With this victory, India is on the brink of a semi-final spot, while Pakistan is on the verge of elimination. As the tournament heats up, one thing is clear – King Kohli is far from done!
