Dubai's latest architectural marvel, the Muraba Veil, is set to redefine the city's skyline with its record-breaking slenderness. Designed by the award-winning Spanish studio RCR Arquitectes, this 73-story skyscraper is only 22.5 meters wide and stands 380 meters tall, making it one of the narrowest skyscrapers ever built. Located along Sheikh Zayed Road and the Dubai Canal, it presents a bold, futuristic design that challenges traditional architectural norms.
The Muraba Veil will house 131 luxurious apartments, each spanning the building's full width, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. The tower will also feature state-of-the-art amenities such as a private cinema, art gallery, spa, fine dining restaurant, and even a padel court, ensuring an elevated lifestyle experience for its residents. What sets this building apart is the stainless steel “veil” that envelops it, giving it a sleek, modern look.
The developers, led by Ibrahim Al Ghurair, emphasize that the design reflects UAE’s rich cultural heritage, with apartments modeled after traditional Arab homes arranged around internal courtyards. “This is more than just a residence,” Ghurair says, “It is a life-enhancing architectural masterpiece that embodies the serenity and calm of an Arabic courtyard.” The Muraba Veil is poised to become an iconic symbol of Dubai’s blend of modernity and tradition, offering a unique living experience in the heart of the city.
