Dubai Auction: Rare Cars, Jewellery, and Luxury Items Set to Go Under the Hammer

Luxury enthusiasts and car collectors gathered at the Emirates Golf Club this weekend to witness a stunning lineup of rare items set for auction. RM Sotheby’s second auction in Dubai features unique cars, exquisite jewellery, and exclusive luxury goods. The highly anticipated auction, taking place on Sunday evening, will offer bidders the chance to own rare pieces through in-person, online, or phone participation. A public preview of the items remains open until 3 PM Sunday.

Highlights of the Auction

  1. Pagani Zonda 760 LM Roadster
    A bespoke 2014 Pagani Zonda, valued at over Dh44 million, is the star attraction. Known for its rarity, this supercar has drawn significant attention from collectors worldwide.

  2. Royal Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG V12
    A 2002 Mercedes-Benz once owned by the Dubai royal family will also be up for bidding. This vehicle, previously registered with the prestigious "Dubai 1" plate, offers a unique opportunity for collectors.

  3. Aston Martin Valkyrie Coupé
    One of only 150 road-legal examples, this 2022 hypercar boasts a Lunar White exterior and a sleek carbon roof. It is estimated to sell for close to Dh1 million.

  4. Classic Ferraris
    Several Ferraris, including a 1970 Ferrari Dino, will be auctioned, starting from USD $40,000. The Dino, one of just 506 ever produced, is expected to fetch Dh1.5 million.

  5. Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III
    A beautifully restored 1964 Rolls-Royce ‘Flying Spur’ is anticipated to exceed Dh1 million, making it a standout among collectors.

  6. Hermès Himalaya Birkin Bag
    This rare luxury handbag, crafted from Niloticus crocodile skin with palladium hardware, is a coveted item, estimated at Dh70,000.

  7. Emerald Statement Necklace
    A diamond and emerald necklace featuring a detachable pendant and intricate design is expected to fetch Dh6.5 million.

Exclusive Experience

Peter Haynes, Director of Marketing at Sotheby’s EMEA, expects around 400 bidders, describing the event as thrilling for collectors.

This auction not only showcases rare items but also highlights Dubai’s position as a hub for luxury and exclusivity.
